Michelle Guidry responding to Paul Root Wolpe: It's time to question bio-engineering

This was a topic that I honestly do not agree with.  Bio-engineering or the creation of clones of animals and people cells goes against everything that I believe in.  I believe that God knows each and everyone of us.  He has carved us from the palm of his hand before we were even born.  Science today has allowed scientist to create sheep, rats, fish, cats, dogs, horses, calves, grey wolves, and pigs, from cells from other animals and clone them.  It is scary and wrong all at the same time.  I understand that evolution and civilization has evolved and continues to change over time and that humans and animals have had to adapt to these changes, but I do not feel we should be altering cells, genes, and the make up of people or animals.  Ethically and morally I feel this is wrong.  God can given us the brains and know how to do many things, but just because we are capable of doing them does not make them right or good.  We were created by God to be the people we are, if we start altering people and animals to be super smart or faster or stronger, we are changing the course of our future.  This was one video that I did not enjoy.

  1. I agree. I feel we are losing the true meaning of how people are created with their own DNA, gifts, talents, faults, genetic makeups, etc. I do not like this new scientific view. I hope God can alter this way of thinking and creation of human life. I believe anything is possible.
